Everything — stock, movements, products, locations, operators — lives in your own Google Sheet, in your own Google account, not a TapStock database.

TapStock is just a frontend that reads and writes that Sheet through the Google API, using access you grant to that one file (the drive.file scope).

Yes — with a few cautions.

Safe to do

• Add/edit master data (products, locations, operators)
• View reports / pivots / charts, export to PDF or Excel
• Back up (File → Make a copy)

Be careful with

• Editing the stock (balance) table directly — it drifts from transactions
• Deleting rows in transactions — it breaks the audit trail
• Renaming a column header or deleting a tab TapStock created — the app may not find it

Rule of thumb: to change a stock balance, use the Adjust button in the app — it records a transaction and re-syncs the balance for you.

ตอนนี้ master data เพิ่ม/แก้ผ่าน Google Sheet โดยตรง (หน้า admin ในแอปกำลังพัฒนา)

เคล็ดลับ: คอลัมน์ active ใส่ TRUE ถ้าใช้ทันที, FALSE ถ้าซ่อนชั่วคราว · SKU/Location ID ห้ามซ้ำและห้ามเว้นวรรค · เพิ่ม SKU ใหม่อย่าลืมเพิ่ม row ใน product_units อย่างน้อย 1 row ที่ is_base = TRUE

For now, master data is added/edited directly in the Google Sheet (an in-app admin page is in the works).

1. Open the connected Google Sheet (find its name under ⋮ → Settings)
2. Go to the matching tab: products, product_units (extra units), locations (warehouses/bins), operators
3. Add a new row, filling in the columns per the header
4. Back in the app, tap Reload (top-right) and the new data appears

Tips: set active to TRUE to use it now or FALSE to hide it · SKU/Location IDs must be unique and space-free · when you add a new SKU, add at least one product_units row with is_base = TRUE.

If you see “Payment failed”, it’s usually one of three causes:

1. Your bank blocked it (most common) — some banks block foreign or recurring charges. Call your bank, or enable international/online transactions in your mobile banking app, then retry.
2. Wrong card details — double-check the number, expiry, CVV, and that the name matches the card.
3. Insufficient funds / expired / frozen card — check your balance or try another card.

No. TapStock requests only the drive.file scope, which means:

• It sees only the Sheet you pick or create through TapStock
• It cannot see any other Sheet, Doc, or Folder in your Drive

Unlimited operators. Add as many staff names to the Sheet as you like — there’s no per-seat charge.

A technical note: Google Sheets has a rate limit of about 60 writes/minute per sheet, so if more than 5–10 operators tap at the exact same time, it may occasionally slow down or error — the app auto-retries for you.

No. Your data has been in your own Google Sheet since day one. After you cancel:

• ✅ The Sheet stays in your Drive — open it in Google Sheets anytime
• ✅ Export to Excel/CSV/PDF instantly
• ❌ You can’t open the TapStock app (you’d need to resubscribe)
• ✅ Resubscribe and pick up where you left off (“Use a different Sheet” → paste the same link)

Not yet. The current version needs internet because every transaction syncs to your Google Sheet immediately. (On the roadmap: an offline queue that keeps working when Wi-Fi drops and syncs once you’re back online — targeted for v1.2.)

Not in the current version. For now you pick a SKU by typing to search or tapping from the list. (On the roadmap: barcode/QR scanning via the phone or tablet camera in a future version — you can pre-fill each SKU’s code in the barcode column of the products table now.)

Yes — Thai and English. Switch from the TH | EN control in the landing-page footer, or inside the app via ⋮ (top right) → “Language”.

ระบบเก็บ transaction แบบ append-only (ไม่ลบ/แก้ row) เพื่อรักษา audit trail แต่แก้ได้ 2 วิธี:

1. ทำ transaction ตรงข้าม เช่น รับเข้าผิด 5 ขวด → ทำ Issue (จ่ายออก) 5 ขวด พร้อม note อ้างอิงรายการเดิม
2. ปรับยอด (Adjust) ใส่ยอดที่ถูกต้องพร้อมเหตุผล “นับใหม่ / แก้ tx ผิด”

ทั้ง 2 วิธีจะเหลือ trail ครบ ตรวจสอบย้อนหลังได้

Transactions are append-only (no editing or deleting rows) to preserve the audit trail — but you can correct them two ways:

1. Record the opposite transaction — e.g. received 5 bottles by mistake → Issue 5 bottles with a note referencing the original entry
2. Adjust — set the correct balance with a reason like “recount / fix wrong tx”

Either way the full trail remains and stays auditable.

14 days — but a credit card is required up front (our subscriptions run on Lemon Squeezy, which keeps the card on file for auto-renewal after the trial).

• Cancel within the first 14 days → no charge at all

Yes. For each SKU you set:

• A base unit in products.base_unit (e.g. “bottle”) — all balances are stored in this unit
• Alternate units in product_units (e.g. “case” = 12 × bottle)

When recording a transaction, pick whichever unit is convenient (e.g. “2 cases”) and the app converts to the base unit (24 bottles) in the stock balance automatically.
